Swing, Swing, Swing

Swing was a musical style that defined a generation.   Lifting a country from the Great Depression, and sustaining a nation through the upheaval of World War II, swing music was uniquely American.   Soft and sweet, or hot and fast, this was the music of Goodman, Dorsey, James and Miller… played everywhere, heard everywhere, and loved by all.

Over half a century later, the uptempo, melodic music of the swing era is back again with a vengeance.   From television commercials to Broadway musicals, swing is again “king”.   Swing dance clubs are flourishing, and the grandchildren of the bobby soxers can cut a rug as well as their grandparents when dancing to the music of groups like the Billie Ledbetter Orchestra.

We’re ready to show you why swing never really left, through our classic renditions of the numbers below:

In The Mood
Sing, Sing, Sing
Don't Sit Under The Appletree
Little Brown Jug
Pennies From Heaven
Jump, Jive and Wail
Mack the Knife
Chattanooga Choo Choo
and many, many more...
